Staff Data Scientist, Tenable
As a Staff Data Scientist with the Tenable Data Science team since 2017, Damien McParland has been a key driver behind some of the company's most impactful data features. He has been instrumental in the development and enhancement of critical projects, including the Vulnerability Priority Rating (VPR) and Asset Criticality Rating (ACR). Damien also led the development of Tenable's exposure scoring offerings, which help customers globally assess and monitor their security efforts. With over a decade of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning, Damien specializes in transforming complex data into actionable security insights. He holds a PhD in Statistics and previously lectured on the subject at University College Dublin.
