Nico Popp

Nico Popp is Tenable’s chief product officer (CPO). He leads product development and engineering, ensuring the global execution of the company’s vision. He and his team are responsible for delivering continuous innovation across Tenable’s industry-leading vulnerability management and exposure management platform.

Popp joined Tenable from Forcepoint where he was chief product officer leading the development of the Forcepoint Human-Centric Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platform. Prior to Forcepoint, Nico was senior vice president of cloud and information protection at Symantec for data and cloud security. Popp also held senior leadership roles at Verisign, Apple, and NeXT Software.

Popp holds more than 30 patents. He received a master’s degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, and a bachelor’s degree from France’s SUPAERO.
