Nessus ranks nearly twice as high as closest competitor
New research by Cybersecurity Insiders, Application Security Report 2018 , found that Nessus® is the industry’s most widely used vulnerability assessment solution for applications, with nearly twice as many security teams using the solution as any other competitive offering.
Cybersecurity Insiders conducted this in-depth study in partnership with the 400,000-member Information Security Community on LinkedIn. Of these participants, 44 percent reported that they rely on Nessus to identify application vulnerabilities, representing the highest percentage of any solution. The report is the result of a comprehensive survey designed to reveal the latest application security trends, how organizations are protecting applications, and what solutions and best practices IT cybersecurity teams are prioritizing to find, fix and prevent vulnerabilities in next-generation applications.
