Tenable Enhances SecurityCenter Reporting and Data Manipulation

SecurityCenter 4.6.2 supports a report publishing capability, allowing customers to export raw data for reporting to custom applications or other SIM or GRC tools. If you integrate SecurityCenter into your organization's operations, then please pay attention to this new cool feature from Tenable.
Report Publishing
Extending SecurityCenter API capabilities, customers can now easily export raw data to SIM, GRC tools, and other third party and custom applications via two publishing methods: HTTP POST and Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS).
HTTP POST method: regardless of the format – whether it is PDF, CSV and the various XML reports, SecurityCenter allows for publishing automatically when the report is generated or manually publishing the report at a scheduled time identified by the user.
CMRS Publishing method: for CyberScope reporting, CMRS publishing uses a server that relies on WS-Notify to process ARF and ASR reports. Two new reports (which were discussed in an earlier post) were introduced to support organizations that require this capability: ARF and ASR reports. Conclusion
The web publishing methods in SecurityCenter will provide a simple way for customers of large networks to publish data to other systems and tools for analysis. More details on this release are available in the Tenable Support Portal.

August 9, 2012<p>Today, Tenable <a href="http://www.tenable.com/news-events/press-releases/2012-tenable-network-security-unveils-securitycenter-continuous-view" target="_self" title="Tenable Network Security Unveils SecurityCenter Continuous View">announced </a>the availability of a new edition of SecurityCenter, called Continuous View.</p> <p>This edition of SecurityCenter uniquely encompasses both scanning and monitoring, with the inclusion of Tenable's Passive Vulnerability Scanner (PVS).
