Synopsis

The remote host is running an outdated version of Adobe Flash Player that is affected by multiple attack vectors.

Description

Versions of Adobe Flash Player prior to 24.0.0.194 are unpatched, and therefore affected by the following vulnerabilities :

 - An unspecified flaw exists that may allow a context-dependent attacker to bypass security restrictions and gain access to potentially sensitive information.
 - An unspecified use-after-free error exists that may allow a context-dependent attacker to dereference already freed memory and potentially execute arbitrary code.
 - An unspecified overflow condition exists that is triggered as certain input is not properly validated. This may allow a context-dependent attacker to cause a heap-based buffer overflow, potentially allowing the execution of arbitrary code.
 - A flaw exists that is triggered as certain unspecified input is not properly validated. This may allow a context-dependent attacker to corrupt memory and potentially execute arbitrary code.
 - A flaw exists that is triggered as input is not properly validated when handling ActionRecord structures within SWF files. This may allow a context-dependent attacker to trigger an unspecified out-of-bounds condition and potentially execute arbitrary code.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Flash Player version 24.0.0.194 or later.
