SecurityCenter Continuous View Event Analysis and Reporting

Course Description

In this two-day, hands-on instructor-led course, students will learn how to leverage SecurityCenter Continuous View® for continuous security visibility. Event analysis tools are introduced and basic analysis concepts are taught. Basic reporting for data dissemination at all levels is taught for critical context and decisive action.

Audience

This course is intended for security professionals responsible for the operational use of SecurityCenter®, Passive Vulnerability Scanner® (PVS™) and Log Correlation Engine® (LCE®) for vulnerability and event data acquisition, analysis and dissemination.

Prerequisites

Students should possess a basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, operating systems security and common client/server applications. Familiarity with vulnerability management vocabulary and concepts will be helpful but not required. Students should have already completed the SecurityCenter: Scanning and Analysis course.
